A Sophisticated Knotty Alder Ranch in North Silverthorne
For this transformation in North Silverthorne, we partnered with Peak Element Construction on a ranch-style residence. The goal was to take a home with “good bones” and thoughtfully bring it into the modern era balancing a high-end residential feel with the functional needs of a working estate, complete with on-site stables.
The client’s vision was to maintain the home’s ranch character while updating the dated woodwork to create a more modern, refined approach. By selecting Bridgewood Cabinetry’s Knotty Alder cabinetry finished in their Koala stain, the natural rustic integrity of the space was maintained while introducing a fresh, contemporary tone.
The new cabinetry provides a refined contrast against the travertine flooring and the vintage-inspired tile backsplash. Professional-grade stainless steel appliances, including a built-in refrigerator installed flush with the cabinetry, add a subtle industrial edge. Integrated toe-kick lighting provides a soft floating effect, enhancing the room’s elevated feel. The Koala finish was also carried onto the structural ceiling beams, visually unifying the full architectural volume of the space.
The result is a timeless ranch interior that feels elevated and intentional. A clean palette and refined finishes honor the rugged North Silverthorne setting while delivering the sophistication of a modern mountain retreat.
